Huntley man, woman charged with sexual conduct with an animal, police say

HUNTLEY, Ill. (WLS) -- A man and a woman have been charged with sexual conduct with an animal in the northwest suburbs.

The suspects, 23-year-old Efin J. Nolte and 27-year-old Katelyn E. Heiden, were arrested Friday at their home in the 9900 block of Yardley Drive in Huntley, police said.



"In July 2025, the Huntley Police Department received a report of a video of a male subject engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with a dog," a news release read in part. "Upon receiving this information, the Huntley Police Department began an investigation that confirmed the video was created in Huntley and led to the identification of suspects Efin Nolte and Katelyn Heiden."

Huntley police received a search warrant for their electronic devices, and later took the suspects in to custody after an investigation.



Nolte and Heiden are each charged with a count of sexual conduct with an animal, and were are being held at the McHenry County Jail, police said.

No further information was immediately available.
