Pritzker says the state has improved its fiscal situation within his past four years as governor. He said he's fended off "difficult circumstances" that he says President Donald Trump has put on Illinois.
Republican candidate for governor Bailey and his running mate, Aaron Del Mar, also held an event Wednesday morning at the Tyson Foods plant in Hillsdale, which is set to close.
They talked about businesses leaving Illinois as a result of what Bailey calls Pritzker's unfriendly economic policies.
