Monday, December 29, 2014
Officials from the Illinois Supreme Court are warning people in west suburban Kendall County about a jury duty scam.

A caller who identifies himself as "Captain David Allen" advises people they missed jury duty and that a judge has issued an arrest warrant. The caller then advises the citizen he can avoid arrest by paying a fine with a prepaid credit card, while reading the numbers over the phone.

Anyone with information on the scam should call police.
