9 semis, 4 cars, Indiana State Police vehicle involved in pileup on Indiana Toll Road: officials

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. (WLS) -- Nine semis, four passenger cars and an Indiana State Police vehicle were involved in a crash on the Indiana Toll Road on Tuesday morning, officials said.

Remarkably, no one was hurt.



The pile-up happened in the eastbound lanes near the LaPorte Plaza exit.

For a while, traffic was forced off at State Road 39 while crews worked to clear the scene.



Eastbound traffic has started moving again.

So far, there is no word on what caused the crash.
