Injuries reported in shooting on I-90 expressway in Chicago, southbound lanes reopen, ISP says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Injuries were reported in a shooting Wednesday evening on the inbound I-90 expressway on Chicago's North Side.

The shooting happened around 3:13 p.m. on I-90-/I-94 southbound near Ogden Avenue in the city's West Town area, Illinois State Police said.



All I-90 southbound traffic was closed at North Avenue, with traffic being diverted there, as authorities investigated the shooting, ISP said. All lanes reopened around 6:41 p.m.

The exact number of injuries and the circumstances of the shooting were not yet known.
