Naturalist April Richards joined us live during our news Saturday morning from the Thorn Creek Woods Nature Preserve to tell us about the club. Young people should be prepared to get muddy, dress for the weather, wear boots and long pants.
Thorn Creek Woods Nature Preserve is a 985-acre Oak/Hickory woodland with upland views of Thorn Creek and wetland areas. It has 3.5 miles miles of hiking trails to explore.
