Kane County receives over 1,500 tips from possible victims of chiropractor facing child porn charges

BATAVIA, Ill. (WLS) -- The Kane County State's Attorney's Office has received over 1,500 calls and emails from potential victims of a west suburban chiropractor facing child pornography charges.

David Hanson, the 43-year-old owner of Hanson Family Chiropractic in Batavia, was arrested earlier last month.



Investigators said in a news release Monday they believe Hanson acted alone.

After receiving hundreds of tips, the Kane County Child Exploitation Unit has begun identifying possible victims.

Hanson is currently detained in the Kendall County Jail while his case is pending.



He's next due in court Jan. 8 in Kane County.
