Man shot, critically injured inside moving vehicle in Lincoln Park area: police

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was shot and critically injured inside a moving vehicle on Chicago's North Side on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police said the shooting happened in the Lincoln Park area's 1600-block of West Fullerton Avenue just after 12:30 p.m.



An unknown suspect shot a 40-year-old man in the neck, police said.

The victim was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.



Area Three detectives are investigating. Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
