The Great Lakes Region team was eliminated from the Little League World Series tournament after losing to the West Region team.
The Clarendon Hills community has been cheering the young players on since they first advanced in the tournament. They gathered for another watch party on Sunday.
On Saturday, the local Little League team won a LLWS tournament game, defeating the Mid-Atlantic Region team with a score of 3-2.
It was a historic appearance in the Little League World Series from the 12U baseball team out of Clarendon Hills. It's the first appearance ever for the team, and the people of Clarendon Hills are embracing the young ballplayers back home.
The team represented the Great Lakes Region in Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series.
