CHICAGO (WLS) -- How about some free pizza!
Lou Malnati's is giving away slices this morning to celebrate its 55th anniversary.
Five hundred and fifty slices of deep dish pizza will be handed out, starting at 11 a.m., at their restaurant at Michigan and Hubbard.
"Even after 55 years, our mission is unchanged. We are committed to handmade quality and to being part of the memories people make around our pizza," said Marc Malnati, owner of Lou Malnati's. "The communities and families who have supported us for generations are at the heart of everything we do."
Lou Malnati's first opened on March 17, 1971 in Lincolnwood.
