Man injured in fight on CTA Blue Line train on West Side, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 55-year-old man was injured in an altercation on a CTA Blue Line train on the West Side Wednesday morning, Chicago police said.

The incident took place at about 1:10 a.m. in the 4800-block of West Flournoy Street.



Police said the victim got into an altercation with a male suspect, who took out a sharp object and injured the victim before fleeing.

The victim was injured in the hip and transported to RUSH Oak Park Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.



Area Four detectives are investigating.
