Red Line trains were standing at the Berwyn stop due to the medical emergency. and train service for the Red and Purple lines between Howard and Belmont was suspended.
As of 8:45 a.m., trains resumed running, but 95th bound trains were not stopping at Bryn Mawr, Berwyn, Argyle and Lawrence.
Shuttle buses are available from Howard to Belmont to connect service in both directions.
