Pedestrian struck, killed by NCS train at Galewood station, Metra says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by NCS train at the Galewood station on Monday, Metra said.



Metra said the pedestrian was struck at about 4:30 p.m. by an outbound North Central Service train just west of the Galewood station.



The pedestrian died at the scene, Metra said.



At about 6 p.m. trains began to move again with delays.

No other information was available.
