CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- A police investigation in the west suburbs is impacting Metra service on Monday afternoon.
Video captured several officers at the scene, where an Amtrak train was stopped on the tracks near Cermak and Christiana.
Around 2:15 p.m., Metra said inbound and outbound BNSF train movement was halted near the Cicero station. Trains are now back on the move with extensive delays expected.
What happened was not immediately clear. Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
