Missing Mother McAuley high school student found safe, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A high school student has been found safe after going missing last week, Chicago police said.



Estefania Herrera, 18, was last seen Oct. 17. She was later located safe, CPD officials said Friday.

She is a senior and part of the swimming team at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School.

"The Mother McAuley community is praying for the safe return of senior Estefania Herrera," the school said last week.
