CHICAGO (WLS) -- National Pizza Day is being marked in the Chicago area with more than just a slice.

Roaring Table Brewery in Lake Zurich is spotlighting a full kitchen menu that includes three distinct pizza styles made in-house: Chicago tavern-style, New York-style and Detroit-style pies. The suburban taproom, known for its craft beer lineup, recently expanded its food offerings with pizza and sandwiches designed to pair with beer.

The brewery is co-owned by Lane Fearing, a Siebel Institute-trained brewer, and Beth May, a graphic designer who oversees the brand's visual identity and menu presentation, according to the business. Roaring Table opened in Lake Zurich in August 2017.

Along with pizza, the taproom offers beer-friendly fare such as sandwiches served with hand-cut fries and shareables including a giant pretzel and house-seasoned fries. The brewery also promotes itself as a game-day destination, with multiple screens throughout the space.

Upcoming events listed by the brewery include weekly specials such as "Pitchers & Pies" on Wednesdays, "The Detroit Club" on Thursdays, and a Seinfeld trivia night scheduled for Feb. 26, as well as a Valentine's Day pairing collaboration with Après Pastry & Bakery.
