GREAT LAKES, Ill. (WLS) -- An enlisted member of the U.S. Navy is accused of using the mobile phone app Kik to collect naked images of young girls.
Billy Collins, 33, was arrested Monday at his home in Great Lakes. He is now charged in Lake County with several counts of child pornography.
The sheriff's office says he used the messaging app to pose as a 14-year-old girl. He them communicated with female children to acquire their nude images.
Bond is set at $250,000.
