New series from the producers of 'Crazy Rich Asians' to debut on Hulu

The 6-part drama series stars an international cast and two Hong Kong pop stars

That's a line from the trailer for Hulu's "The Season."

The official synopsis reads, "A group of friends in Hong Kong's elite boating scene find their summer getaway descending into betrayal and power plays as hidden agendas surface."

The series stars Jessie Mei Li ("Shadow and Bone") as Cola, Toby Stephens ("Percy Jackson and the Olympians") as Christopher Hext, Karena Lam ("American Girl," "Zinnia Flower") as Fiona Hext, Chris Pang ("Crazy Rich Asians") as Andrew Fung, Celina Jade ("The Man with the Iron Fists," "Arrow") as Carrie Shen, Justin Chien ("The Brothers Sun") as David Ho, Yvonne Chapman ("Superman," "Avatar: The Last Airbender") as Madeline, Kki as Allison, Lee Jae-yoon ("Alice," "A Company Man," "Heartless City") as Jon Kim, and featuring Hong Kong pop stars Anson Lo & Marf Yau.

The series is executive produced for SK Global by Chloe Dan, EVP, Head of Television, alongside Matt Aragachi and Dylan Tarason. It's produced by PCCW Media in partnership with global entertainment company SK Global.
