Pedestrian injured in Niles crash, police say

NILES, Ill. (WLS) -- Niles police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian on Sunday.

The crash happened in the 7600-block of Dempster Street, Niles police said.



Video obtained by ABC7 shows a gray sedan with a broken windshield.

At about 8 a.m., all eastbound and westbound lanes were closed from Ozark St. to Ottawa Ave.



Ozark Street was closed between Dempster St. and Crain St.



All lanes reopened by 1 p.m.

Police did not say how serious the injuries were.

No other information was available.
