Glenview police responded just before 12:10 p.m. to 3100 Sanders Road, after a 911 call regarding an injured person, police said.
Police secured the scene and assisted Glenview Fire Department paramedics.
The injured person was taken to Lutheran General Hospital. Police did not immediately provide any additional information about what happened to the person or his or her condition.
A suspect was taken into custody at Milwaukee Avenue, just south of Harts Road, Niles police said. Park Ridge police had spotted the suspect vehicle.
Niles and Chicago police helped with the traffic stop.
Chopper 7 was over the scene about 2 p.m. at the grounds of the old Allstate Insurance headquarters.

Crime scene tape and several emergency vehicles were visible.
