Orland Park pool temporarily closed after possible E. coli cases, village says

ORLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Orland Park's pool will remain closed on Monday due to concerns about possible E. coli contamination.



The Centennial Park Aquatic Center said two cases of the illness were preliminary linked to the facility.

Anyone with symptoms is advised to see a doctor.



Water tests will be done before the facility reopens.

What are the symptoms of an E. coli infection?



t's known to cause stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting and fever. The symptoms generally resolve within a week, though some people can develop life-threatening conditions.
