The Cook County Sheriff's Office said a woman said she was attending a concert at the Aragon Ballroom on April 20.
The woman said she met a man who offered her a drink and after a few sips, she could no longer remember the rest of the night, police said.
The woman told police she found herself the next morning in a home in Palos Hills where a man, identified by police as Timothy O'Connell, ordered her a ride back to her hotel from his rideshare account.
The woman then got medical attention, with results indicating she was sexually assaulted, police said.
Investigators said security footage showed O'Connell carrying the victim as he walked outside the Aragon Ballroom. Security footage also showed a vehicle dropping off O'Connell and the victim at the residence in Palos Hills, police said.
O'Connell was taken into custody Wednesday. He has been charged with three counts of criminal sexual assault,
After appearing in court, a judge ordered O'Connell to the electronic monitoring program.
