Park City officer charged in sex assault while on duty, ordered held, Illinois State Police say

PARK CITY, Ill. (WLS) -- A part-time police officer is charged with sexually abusing a woman while on duty, Illinois State Police said.

Patrick Cacho, 29, of Kenosha, Wisconsin appeared in court Thursday, where a judge ordered he remain in jail.

He worked as an officer in Park City, Illinois.



The abuse allegedly took place during traffic stops back in January, police said. Cacho has been fired from the police department.



Prosecutors also said he may have carried out a similar act in Wisconsin.
