Chicago police release image of van suspected deadly hit-and-run in Morgan Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police have released a surveillance image of a van suspected in a deadly hit-and-run crash in the Morgan Park neighborhood last week.

The incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. at 117th Street and Marshfield Avenue.



Police said the driver had a disagreement with the victim and when the victim went back to his car, the driver pulled forward and hit them.

The victim was trapped and dragged.



Police said the vehicle is a tan and or white van with probable damage to the front grill area and undercarriage. Police said it is believed the van was immediately brought to a shop for repair.
