Collette's collection splits photographs of parents and children, siblings, even cousins, and combines them into a single image. The results highlight how much different family members can resemble each other even when they are years apart in age or are different genders.

"Like our inexplicable fascination with mug shots, Collette's photographs demonstrates the deep pleasure we take in looking at human faces and their variations," Collette wrote in a statement about the series.
