CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of rubber ducks left their bathtubs behind for the Chicago River Thursday for a good cause.
Almost 60,000 rubber ducks raced down the river as part of the Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby to benefit the Special Olympics of Illinois. The ducks were available for "adoption" online for just $5 each.
This is the ninth year of the derby.
