Investigators said a 46-year-old woman was found dead inside her home in the 31200-block of North Alleghany Road on Tuesday morning. Her identity has not yet been released.
Lake County Sheriff's Det. Chris Covelli said they are looking for Leo Amin, 30, as a "person of interest" in the case. He was last seen driving a silver or gold Nissan Altima with Illinois license plate E37840.
Covelli said they do not believe this to be a random act, but are asking the public to remain vigilant and to call 911 if they see Amin or his vehicle.

The Lake County coroner will conduct an autopsy to determine a manner and cause of death.
