CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are searching for a suspicious person reported on the city's Northwest Side.

Police said they were called just before 3 p.m. Tuesday after a white male in his 40s was seen carrying a weapon case and wearing body armor near Peterson and Pulaski.
Investigators said no weapons were seen.
A Chicago police helicopter was seen searching the area.
