CHICAGO (WLS) --
Police are searching for a violent robber who attacked two women in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood.

The first attack happened June 29 in the 2800-block of W. Flournoy. The other was on July 4 at a bus stop in the 700-block of S. California.
In both robberies, the man hit the woman or pushed her to the ground before taking a purse and other valuables.
