The switch to a motorcade led to a 90 minute delay in taking off.
Obama was in Chicago to address the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference at McCormick Place. After two fundraisers, he sat court side at the Chicago Bulls game at the United Center.
"You got a new coach. He's opening up the offense a little bit. The question is whether he's going to be able to hold onto the defense with a new offense," Obama said. He then tweeted a shout out to the Bulls.

President Obama is on his way back to Washington, D.C. He is scheduled to meet with the United Kingdom's Prince Harry at the White House Wednesday afternoon.
