BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- One of the holiest times of the year for Muslims came to an end Friday morning in the Chicago area.
Muslims celebrated Eid al-Fitr in Bridgeview.

It was one of several celebrations in the Chicago area at the end of Ramadan, a month-long holiday.
The celebration started with prayers, then followers broke their fast with family and friends, enjoying meals and sharing gifts.
