Police said officers responded to a report of a person with a gunshot wound who had walked into Northwestern Hospital just after 11:15 p.m.

The injured person, a 26-year-old man, was inside his vehicle in the 400-block of West Ontario Street when a darked-colored sedan's driver pulled up and parked, police said.
Police said two male suspects got out of the sedan, took out guns, and opened fire at the victim's vehicle before fleeing the scene.
The victim, who suffered three gunshot wounds to the right leg, took himself to Northwestern Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
Area Three detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information.
