Spike Lee speaks to criticism of 'Chiraq' trailer

Director Spike Lee is out with a new trailer for his controversial film "Chiraq." He's taking aim at critics who are calling the film a comedy or humorous.

CHICAGO -- Director Spike Lee is out with a new trailer for his controversial film "Chi-Raq." He's taking aim at critics who are calling the film "a comedy" or "humorous."

Lee said that although humor is used throughout the film, "Chi-Raq" is a very serious film dealing with the very serious issue of gun violence in the city of Chicago.

Ryan, Val, Ji and Roe discuss the controversial film.

"Chi-Raq" has its world premiere in Chicago on Nov. 22. The film opens nationally on Dec. 4.
