Randy Quatrino is devastated after losing two of her beloved Yorkshire Terriers.
Bogie, 16, and Tommy, 10, were attacked and killed by two larger dogs that had gotten loose from a neighbor's yard.
"It was like seconds after I let them out. All of a sudden, I saw my one dog not moving," Quatrino said.
It was last Wednesday afternoon when Quatrino attached Bogie and Tommy to tethers in her front yard.
A third dog, Dexter, was still inside when Quatrino says the attack happened.
Quatrino tried to fight off the neighbor's dogs. She suffered some cuts and bruises, and had to get a tetanus shot.
"I'm still in shock from what I went through. I was trying to use my arms. I have arthritis," Quatrino said.
Jordan Marsala lives across the street.

He says his lawn care company serviced his yard that day, and he was unaware they left the back gate open.
Marsala says he let his two dogs, Weesie and Cardie, in the backyard, but they got out before he knew they were missing.
"I feel terrible. I've had dogs throughout my life, and I can't imagine what they're going through," Marsala said.
Marsala's dogs were taken to an animal center Tuesday, on a 10-day rabies watch.
He's not sure if he'll get his dogs back.
In the meantime, he expressed his sympathy to Quatrino and her husband in a letter, but hasn't spoken to them.
"I've never been in a situation like that where I didn't know what to do," Marsala said.
The Quatrinos say they plan to take legal action.
"I don't even feel safe. I'm scared to death, and I'm not a person who's afraid," Quatrino said.
Streamwood police issued citations against Marsala.
And he's due in court Oct. 7.
