'American Pie' actress Tara Reid says she was drugged at Rosemont hotel

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Tara Reid, the actress from the "American Pie" films, says she was at a hotel in Rosemont when someone slipped a drug into her drink.

She tells TMZ she left her drink at the hotel bar to smoke, and came back to find it covered with a napkin.



Reid says she was unconscious for eight hours.

She is now urging people always keep an eye on their drink.



Rosemont police say they got a call for a sick person but have not confirmed any drugging.

ABC7 has reached out to the DoubleTree for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
