GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- A former teacher in north Texas is in hot water after he is accused of running off with a teenage girl.
Michael Perez, 25, is allegedly on the run with a 16-year-old female student, Amy Botton.

Police say the two met at Grand Prairie High School, where Perez worked as a math teacher.
When the school district found out about their alleged relationship, he was fired.

Now the two are allegedly together but nowhere to be found. Police say they are worried about Botton's well being.
They are believed to be driving in a black or grey Toyota Camry, but police do not have a license plate.
