Chicago surgeon shot ex-wife's dentist husband 7 times, according to report from Ohio coroner

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio (WLS) -- There are new developments in a double murder involving a Chicago surgeon.

The coroner's office in Ohio is reporting that dentist Spencer Tepe was shot seven times, including in the head, neck, and chest.



Spencer and his wife, Monique Tepe, were found dead in their home in December.

Monique's ex-husband, Chicago surgeon Michael McKee, is accused of killing them.

He has pleaded not guilty.



Autopsy findings on Monique Tepe have not been released yet.
