RECIPE: Traditional Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
Your favorite pie or tart shell recipe (or pre-made shell)
1/2 cup butter melted
1 cup sugar
3 eggs beaten
3/4 cup dark syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup whole pecans
Preparation:
Bake pie shell for about 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.
Mix above ingredients and fill partially baked shell 15 minutes at 400 degrees then 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees or until set.
