Their gig is trying to get you to pay them instead of the airline or hotel.
Cybersecurity experts at Guardio say scammers are pretending to be third party travel sites, and trick hotels into giving them, your booking information.
Then the scammer calls you.
When the scammer calls you, they say they're the hotel and have a better deal, if you pay them instead.
"Eventually you pay the scammers on top of what you already paid," cybersecurity expert Nati Tal said.
