But they weren't the only ones representing the club on baseball's biggest stage.
Ball girl Kayla Corbett, a South Side native, was voted the American League's All-Star ball girl - a first for Major League Baseball and for the team.
Corbett said the honor came as a surprise.
"My boss called me and said 'I was hoping to nominate you as the Chicago White Sox ball girl.' My heart just dropped. I was like, 'What?'"
Now in her eighth season with the White Sox ball crew, Corbett is the program's first female member. Her dedication to the job and passion for the game helped earn her the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after fans rallied behind her.
"It's remarkable. It's amazing. Anything is possible when you're following your dream," she said. "I love representing the White Sox. They're family. They're all so nice and supportive. It's just a great organization and I love being the first female to be on the field at the all star game as well."
Corbett shared the experience with the White Sox's first-time All-Stars, including her favorite player, Miguel Vargas.
"He's somebody I look up to. He never gave up on the game. He's a role model to a lot of people," she said.
Off the field, Corbett is studying to become an engineer but hopes to coach in the major leagues one day.
She said her All-Star moment reinforced the value of persistence.
"Keep pushing and don't give up. Fight for your dream. I've failed a thousand times, just keep pushing," she said.
