The Bud Billken Parade is just around the corner, and dance teams across Chicago are putting in the work as they prepare for the annual dance competition. As part of the series Road to the Bud, "Windy City Weekend" is following four teams on their journey to the big day.
On Friday, "Windy City" highlighted the Just Cause Dance Company. Founded by an Oak Park teacher and former dancer, the company was created to introduce Chicago kids to a variety of dance styles. Now, as they prepare for the Bud, these young dancers are learning that confidence is built through hard work and dedication.
