Delia Colunga, 23, shot in the head sitting in vehicle dies

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 23-year-old woman shot in the head Saturday night while sitting in a vehicle with friends in the city's East Side neighborhood has died.

Chicago police say Delia Colunga, 23, was struck in the head after shots were fired from outside her vehicle in the 10900-block of South Green Bay.

Colunga was rushed to a local hospital, where she died Sunday afternoon.

There is no word regarding a suspect or motive for the shooting.
