CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run on the West Side Thursday night, Chicago police said.
The incident occurred at about 11:53 p.m. in the 3800-block of West Van Buren Street.
Officers responded to the scene and found a woman lying in the street with injuries, police said. She was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.
Investigators said the woman was struck by a vehicle. The Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
