Woman throws coffee and punches outside Philly Starbucks

PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia police are searching for a woman who viciously attacked another woman outside a Starbucks in Center City Monday morning.

According to police, the 54-year-old victim was inside the coffee shop on the 1600 block of Arch Street around 9:15 a.m. when she began arguing with another unknown woman.

The victim says the suspect threw a coffee stirrer at her and the argument escalated when they went outside.

That's when the woman can be seen on surveillance throwing a cup of coffee at the victim's face and then punching her repeatedly.

The suspect then grabbed the victim by her hair and pulled her to the ground where she kept on punching and kicking her her until a passer-by broke up the fight.

Police describe the suspect as a black female in her mid 40s, 5'10" tall and 130 lbs. with a dark complexion. She was wearing pink pants and carrying a pink bag.
