CHICAGO (WLS) -- A lawyer for R. Kelly has disputed a report that prosecutors have formed a secret grand jury to hear evidence against the singer.[br /][br /]Last week, [url HREF="https://abc7chicago.com/r-kelly-seen-having-sex-with-underage-girl-in-new-tape-attorney-says/5139268/" TARGET="" REL=""]an attorney claimed t[/url]o provide video evidence that R-Kelly had sex with a teenage girl.[br /][Ads /][br /][b][url HREF="https://abc7chicago.com/see-inside-r-kelly-hasnt-cleared-bedroom-from-west-loop-studio-inspectors-say-/5126461/" TARGET="" REL=""]RELATED: See inside R. But the singer's lawyer, Steve Greenberg, says there is no grand jury.[br /][Ads /][br /]]Greenberg tweeted "I am unaware of any "special" grand jury being convened to look into R Kelly. There is no record of any such proceedings, and no need for them. The report is false."[br /][br /][twitter ID="1097293668610990081" /][br /][br /]The Cook County State's Attorney's Office has not returned ABC7's call for a comment.[br /][br /]In 2008, Kelly was acquitted of child pornography charges in Chicago.
