Tasty steak skewers for the big game

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Raised on Wacker is one of the few rooftop bars still open during the winter months, offering a unique view of the city and the Chicago River.

Chef Timothy stopped by ABC 7 to talk about ideal appetizers for the big game, including marinated steak skewers.

Steak Skewers
3 pounds of skirt steak, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 cup soy sauce
cup sugar

cup honey
1 cup gochujang
cup sesame oil
cup sprite
6 garlic cloves, minced

4 scallions, grilled

Preparation:
Mix everything but steak together and then pour over steak to marinate, reserve cup of marinade.

Using one skewer, pierce 3 pieces of meat. Mark each side on the grill finish in the oven serve medium to medium rare. Top with grilled scallions, reserved sauce, and cilantro.
