It happened Friday morning near the intersection of 18th and Dickinson streets.

Police tell Action News a worker was in the process of repossessing a vehicle.
Police say a man who was armed with a gun tried to stop that from happening.
The repo man then pulled out a gun and shot the victim twice, hitting him once in the chest and once in the arm.
Police say a dog was also hit by gunfire.
Officers rushed the man who had been shot to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The repo man was being questioned by police. So far there have been no arrests or charges filed.
The investigation into the incident continues.
