JOLIET, Ill. -- Ryan went to Route 66 Raceway in Joliet for the experience of a lifetime. He learned the ins and outs of driving a dragster from drag racing legend Frank Hawley. The dragster reaches speeds of up to 130 miles per hour and from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3 seconds. Ryan also spoke with Denny Hartwig and Scott Paddock of Route 66 Raceway to talk about the upcoming NHRA Nationals event taking place from July 6 - 9.
