Crews were called to the 1000-block of Lunt Avenue sometime after 7 p.m., officials confirmed.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear. It was also not immediately known what kind of business occupied the building. Fire officials said the building was subdivided into storage units, but they don't know what was in the unit that caught fire or what caused the blaze to burn with such intensity.
There were no reports of injuries from fire officials. Fire officials said part of the building did collapse during the blaze, hindering the effort to quench the flames.
The fire was struck out around 9 p.m., though firefighters remained at the scene to watch for hot spots.
