The incident happened in the 8600 block of Crawford Avenue. Officials said the bus careened out of control into multiple cars and finally crashed into a house, where it became stuck.

There were no children on the bus at the time. The driver was being checked out by paramedics for minor injuries. There have been no reports of serious injuries.
No one in the home was injured either, but the crash caused extensive damage.
"Heard a loud bang, and I was like... I thought it was a thunder, and then everything, the light went off, and I came downstairs and saw this thing inside my house," said resident Hamza, who declined to share his last name.

Officials said the bus driver collided with an SUV while heading southbound, then hit a pair of parked cars across the street before crossing four lanes and a grassy median and plowing into the home.
"All I saw was the bus cut over this median and drive straight into this house. Straight into it. And I slammed on my brakes because I saw it coming this way," said witness Nikki Kelsay.
As night fell, the bus was pulled from the house, leaving a gaping hole and extensive damage to the living room. But there was still relief no one was seriously hurt.
Messages left for the school bus company Alltown were not returned. Police said a ticket was issued for improper lane usage but declined to say if it was given to the bus driver or the driver of the SUV he collided with.
